Working at Karara

Karara operates a Perth-based fly-in fly-out operation that is only a short commute (45 minutes) from Perth to our purpose-built airstrip at Karara. This provides the opportunity for you to spend more time at home and less time travelling.

The mid-west offers a more temperate climate than other iron ore mining regions in the Pilbara. The Karara village offers high quality amenities with ensuited rooms; 1Gbps Internet Bandwidth on site to enjoy video family face time and internet surfacing; an eco-walking/jogging trail in a natural bush setting, as well as swimming pool, mini golf, tennis, cricket, gym and volleyball facilities. Recently renovated dining and recreational room facilities and wet mess/tavern.

We also employ a significant number of local employees who commute to site from Geraldton on a regular coach service and locals who work residentially at the Karara Export Terminal.

At Karara you will help create an environment where all employees have the opportunity to fully learn any of the skills necessary to perform well in all aspects of their work and to develop to their full potential.
