Applying for a job at Karara
The best way to apply to work with us is to submit an up to date resume online via our website opportunities page in response to our job vacancy postings. Once you have completed the online application process, your resume is stored in our recruitment database for reference by our recruitment team. Only applicants who are shortlisted for a job vacancy will be contacted directly in the selection process.
Submitting an expression of interest
If you cannot find a job that matches your skills and experience, you can submit an expression of interest online. When you have completed the online application process, your resume is stored in our resume database.

What to expect after submitting an application
After submitting your application online, you will receive an email to confirm receipt of your application. Our recruitment team will evaluate your skills and experience against the requirements of the role and determine a candidate shortlist.
If you are selected to the shortlist, you will be contacted by the team and advised of next steps in the recruitment process. If you are unsuccessful, you will be notified by email.
The selection process
Karara’s recruitment and selection process includes the following steps:
- Beginning with your online application (submission of resume)
- Initial telephone screening interview
- Technical and behaviour-based and face-to-face or telephone interviews
- Safety aptitude/risk assessment
- Due diligence, background, criminal and reference checks
- Pre-employment medical and job fitness assessments
